Re-Elect
Michael
A. CINQUE
to Marathon City Council
To the Voters of Marathon:
The city of Marathon is almost 12 years young. Many of us worked hard and long to see Marathon become a city. The city has come a long way in a very short time. We have worked to lower costs without cutting important services like fire, ambulance, police, parks and beaches.
I am proud to say some of the accomplishments with which I have been involved are:
* Finally, trees planted on U.S. 1
* Worked for a people friendly city
* Helped develop a plan to landscape and beautify the U.S. 1 corridor
* Established Grassy Key Fire Rescue station, reducing insurance premiums for all of Marathon
* Repaved the streets of Marathon
* Brought the building department in house, which has saved taxpayers money
* Renovated the City boat ramps and marina
* Came in under budget each year, which reduced spending
* Sewered all of Marathon in the most cost effective way possible for residents
I hope to be re-elected, to finish the projects we've started while I served on the council.
I am asking for your vote on Nov. 8
